When CHRIST is in the midst…….

Protection and security are present:

29 But the children of Israel walked upon dry land in the midst of the sea; and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left. Exodus 14:29 (KJV)

14 For the Lord thy God walketh in the midst of thy camp, to deliver thee, and to give up thine enemies before thee; therefore shall thy camp be holy: that he see no unclean thing in thee, and turn away from thee.  Deut 23:14 (KJV)

15 The Lord hath taken away thy judgments, he hath cast out thine enemy: the king of Israel, even the Lord, isin the midst of thee: thou shalt not see evil any more. Zeph 3:14-15 (KJV)

Judgement for the wicked happens:

HE will provide a way for you:

to make a escape:

Removes the spiritual blindness from eyes, to give you direction:

HE will give boldness to preach:

HE is with the true church:

5 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early. Psalms 46:5 (KJV)

7 And he said unto me, Son of man, the place of my throne, and the place of the soles of my feet, where I will dwell in the midst of the children of Israel for ever, and my holy name, shall the house of Israel no more defile, neitherthey, nor their kings, by their whoredom, nor by the carcases of their kings in their high places.  Ezek 43:7 (KJV)

He is in the midst of true worship:

Salvation from sin will occur:

Will melt hearts:

HE will humble the proud:

HE will be honored, and feared:

Will not dwell in the midst, where sin is present and will not hear:

HE is in the fire, when the devil thinks he has you:

HIS People will never be ashamed:

27 And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I amthe Lord your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed. Joel 2:27 (KJV)

HE will rejoice:

17 The Lord thy God in the midst of thee ismighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing. Zeph 3:17 (KJV)

In the smallest congregation, HE will be there:

The end of all sorrows for those of us who are saved:

17 For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes. Rev 7:17 (KJV)

Our Comforter that was promised from our LORD as HE was preparing to die on the cross for you and I, is the Holy Ghost/Holy Spirit.  He is the third person of the Trinity consisting of the FATHER (GOD), and GOD’s SON (JESUS CHRIST).

He makes intercession:

26  Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.   Romans 8:26-27 (KJV)

He makes ministers:

6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.  2 Cor 3:6 (KJV)

Quickens our flesh:

JESUS, JESUS, JESUS, There’s just something about that name…….. MASTER, SAVIOUR, JESUS, like the fragrance after the rain…… JESUS, JESUS, JESUS, Let all Heaven and Earth proclaim……. Kings and kingdoms will all pass away……… But there’s something about that Name……

I started to write and study about the Shunammite woman in the book of II Kings this week, but GOD led me to study about our precious LORD and SAVIOUR, JESUS CHRIST, and review some of the scriptural reasons for HIS greatness.  So during the weekend that we celebrate HIS birth, over 2000 years ago, this is just a few things that I found in the Authorized King James Version Bible regarding this Precious JESUS.

• His Perfection:

10 My beloved iswhite and ruddy, the chiefest among ten thousand. Song 5:10 (KJV)

• HE is our High Priest:

regular priests were imperfect, but CHRIST was perfect.

but HE didn’t glorify HIMSELF as our high priest:

• HE is fairer than the children of men:

• HE is the Captain of our Salvation:

• HE is the Author of our Salvation:

• HE is a Jewel beyond compare:

• HIS dominion is everlasting:

 Salvation is based on faith not works.  No amount of working for the kingdom of GOD will assure your salvation.  Only accepting JESUS will assure your way into heaven. 

As Christians, the past posts on this blog, regarding ”The Characteristics of a True Christian” are proof of our salvation.  We are to be salt and light for the Saviour.  Make men hungry and thirsty to know more about HIM!!!  The world is looking for those who have the true Characteristics of a Christian, not a counterfeit.

True Christianity, not religion.  Someone to show them the truth, not just tell them….

• Just in dealings:

(used in this context, Just means “acting or being in conformity with what is morally upright or good :” according to the Websters Dictionary)

• Led by the Spirit:

14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.  Romans 8:14 (KJV)

• Is Attentive to HIS Voice:

3 To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out. 4 And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.  John 10:3-4 (KJV)

• Gives Freely:

8 But the liberal deviseth liberal things; and by liberal things shall he stand. Isaiah 32:8 (KJV)

13 Whiles by the experiment of this ministration they glorify God for your professed subjection unto the gospel of Christ, and for your liberal distribution unto them, and unto all men;  2 Cor 9:13 (KJV)

(in this context liberal means: “3. giving and generous in temperament or behaviour”.  According to the World English Dictionary.)

• Your Light Will Shine:

• Have a Spiritual Foundation:

Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:  Matthew 7:24 (KJV)
